Seeking an Experienced Medical Biller to Join Our Team!

Job Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Medical Biller to manage insurance billing and claims processing for our therapy services. The ideal candidate will possess expertise in Excel/Google Sheets and a strong understanding of US healthcare systems. This role involves working closely with insurance companies to ensure accurate and timely reimbursement.
Key Responsibilities:

Prepare, submit, and track medical claims
Follow up on unpaid or denied claims, and manage re-submissions
Reconcile accounts, resolve billing discrepancies, and ensure accurate payment processing
Stay current with healthcare regulations, including HIPAA compliance and payer policies
Ensure accurate coding and billing practices
Collaborate with ABA providers to ensure proper coding and billing practices.
Generate and review billing reports, monitor collections, and maintain records in spreadsheets

Qualifications:

Fluent in English (both written and verbal communication)
Proficient in spreadsheets (e.g., Microsoft Excel, Google Sheets)
In-depth knowledge of US healthcare systems, insurance billing, and medical coding, especially for ABA services
Knowledge of HIPAA regulations
Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team
Ability to accommodate overlapping hours with Pacific Standard Time

Pay: 15 USD/h
