The Accenture Investor Relations team supports efforts to establish and maintain ongoing contact with the investment community to inform, educate and update them regarding Accenture's strategy, capabilities, and what differentiates us in the marketplace. The Accenture IR Research Specialist will focus on researching Accenture clients and our competitors to analyze publicly available information, identify relevant trends and provide insights. Client analysis will consist of providing the investment community perspective of our clients to support executive meetings (top to top). Competitor analysis will consist of leveraging external communications and publicly available information, as well as unique investor and sell side analyst perspectives, to provide competitor insights. Take insights gathered across various data sources to prepare easy to digest summaries, and insights to help support senior leadership decision making.
Leverage external tools (Factset, Alphasense, IHS Markit) and company websites to obtain news releases and other relevant public information on clients and competitors.
Leverage financial filings for companies and competitors (quarterly, annual and proxy reports) to extract meaningful insights across clients and competitors such as their growth strategy, performance across different business segments and geographies, description of business segments and ESG targets.
Monitor industry and market trends, including listening to and extracting key messages, and summarize insights from competitor earnings calls.
Summarize key points from external equity analyst ratings and investment theses, and analyst reaction notes across clients and competitors' earnings announcements, investor & analyst days and other conferences.
Support other key Investor Relations operational priorities, including ESG market intelligence, analysis and ad hoc project work.
Ability to work independently and with a team. Ability to prioritize and work under pressure during peak times (earnings).
Strong problem solving, analytical and communication skills, and ability to simplify complex / large amounts of data. Impeccable attention to detail and strong organizational skills required.
Confident and comfortable dealing with finance executives.
Familiar with Microsoft Word, Excel, Power Point.
