Interviewer for Immigration Law Firm - English|Spanish. - BG in social work, or psychology needed.
The Interviewer completes two to three interviews with the Client regarding mistreatment and hardships they have experienced while coming into and/or while living in the United States. They must create a bond with the client quickly to obtain as much information as possible for the declaration.
*Only those individuals with BG in psychology, social work or similar will be taken into account.*
Schedule: Tuesday-Friday 2:00pm - 11:00pm / Saturdays: 10:00am - 7:00pm (EST)
Payrate: $7.00/hr
Duties/Responsibilities
Over two to three conversations, acquire as much detailed information from the client about hardships and abuse as possible to ensure we can create a strong declaration.
Complete a questionnaire in English while interviewing the client in Spanish
Touch upon as many topics on the battery chart as possible with every client
After the team lead reviews the questionnaire, set a follow-up interview with the client if more information is needed
Upload completed and approved client questionnaires into the client’s folder
Update the status of the interviews and any contact with clients in the case management system accurately and timely
Assist in weekly meetings to talk about questions and complex cases, and ensure working with the most up-to-date information
Required Skills/Abilities
1-Customer service experience
2-Availability to sit down for 8 hours speaking on the phone with one break in between
3-Background in Psychology \ teaching \ any volunteering experience where had to deal with families, children, or adults in difficult situations or dealing with escalations.
4- Private area where to work without any distractions.
5-English proficiency level B2 minimum
6-Ability to type while listening to a person talk
7-Excellent listener-Great communication skills
9-Comfortable with being managed closely
10- Adaptability to changes in a fast-paced environment
