Teem is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Medical Insurance Verification Specialist to join our team. As a Medical Insurance Verification Specialist, you will be responsible for verifying patients' insurance coverage and ensuring accurate and timely claims processing.
Responsibilities:

Verify insurance coverage for patients, including eligibility and benefits
Contact insurance companies for verification and pre-authorization
Update patient records with verified insurance information
Review and resolve any insurance discrepancies or issues
Collaborate with medical billing team to ensure proper billing and claims submission
Provide excellent customer service to patients and insurance companies

Requirements:

Previous experience in medical insurance verification
Experience working with US based companies
Knowledge of US medical insurance terminology and practices
Strong attention to detail and accuracy
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to multitask and prioritize
Proficiency in using medical billing software
Format into sections and lists to improve readability
Avoid targeting specific demographics e.g. gender, nationality and age
