I. JOB OVERVIEW

Reports to Safety & Maintenance Director of Sun World Group (SWG);
Work location: Sun World Hon Thom, Phu Quoc Island, Kien Giang Province, Vietnam

II. JOB DESCRIPTION

Coordinates with Manager of waterpark, rides, show and cable car to establish the short and long-term maintenance plan and strategy;
Assess, coach and guides department’s managers;
Works closely with warehouse and other departments to manage the required stock, costs and improve efficiency, safety;
Ensures department follows up on manufacturer manuals, documentation, implemented SOP and guidelines;
Ensures the correct use of the CMMS system;
Manage the document archive (digital and paper), maintenance contracts with subsuppliers and contractors;
Makes onsite inspection on new facilities and construction sites;
Works with TUV to perform yearly safety inspection on waterslides, pools and rides;
Controls and reviews budget and costs;
Ensures a proper handover of equipment and facilities from project team;
Follows the involved standards and Vietnam regulations for waterpark, facilities, cable car, show and rides;
Tracking, recording and following daily maintenance tasks and inspections;
Overviews & manage high voltage- and fire fighting systems according to Vietnam Law;
Analysis failures and improve downtime;
Other duties assigned by manager.

III. JOB REQUIREMENTS

Bachelor degree or higher in major of mechanical or electrical engineering;
Minimum 3-5 years of experience in the similar position (Foreign applicants are mandatory to have experience with working in Vietnam or Asia);
Proficient in English (Reading & Writing); Microsoft Office and CAD;
Experience with budgeting and cost analyzing; ASTM, EN, ISO standards;
Understands manufacturer manuals and drawings
Analytical mindset;
Excellent communication, self managing, coaching, leadership and management skills;
Able to draw a plan for department strategies and efficiency;
Stays updated on new technologies;
Can work under high pressure;
Good physical health;
