QA Engineer
Description
Position: QA Engineer
Reports To: QA Manager
Direct Report: N/A
Role Objectives
- Responsible for product testing at development and production stage
- Ensure product quality is in compliance with legal safety requirement and reliability requirement
Requirements
- +3 years in QA in toys related industry
- Tertiary qualifications in Engineering Management, Manufacturing Engineering or Mechanical Engineering
- Good command of written and verbal English
- Ability to communicate in Chinese Mandarin is an advantage.
Responsibilities:
- Review model and artwork
- Perform internal physical and mechanical test, and prepare sample for 3rd party laboratory testing
- Establish quality and inspection specification
- Prepare quality document, such as EU Do C, test and control plan, etc.
- Travelling required
Work Hours: Full time, Monday to Friday (8:30am-5:30pm), with one-hour lunch break
Contacts: Have frequent contact with the following internal and external parties:
Internal:
- Melbourne office: Product Manager, Product Design, Engineering team
- Moose Far East: QA/QC, Procurement, Production Planning, Merchandising team
External:
- 3rd party labs (ITS, BV, UL)
- Factories
- Customer QA
