(Mức lương: Thỏa thuận) Operations Supervisor with special responsibility for Pricing
We are a British owned freight forwarding company with a global footprint and have been working in Vietnam for 7 years. We are looking for an operations supervisor to oversee a small team of operators. The perfect candidate will come with long and wide ranging experience in forms of logistics, handling ocean and air imports and exports. We are one of the foremost freight forwarders moving frozen seafood from Vietnam to Europe so experience in reefers would be an advantage.
The supervisor will be chiefly responsible for pricing so must demonstrate they are able to get the most competitive rates from shipping lines, co-loaders and other agents. Good remuneration package for the right person.
Specific duties include:

Responsible for issuing & checking accuracy of import & export shipment documents;
Make a preparation of transportation documents input in company system (such as open file, submit manifest, send arrival notice, issue D/O, receiving document from clients and submit SI to the carrier as well as issue bill of lading, debit note and do payment request to carriers on time;
Deliver all necessary documents to customer or the related department according to handling procedure, company regulations follow up international freight forwarding policy;
Dealing with carriers, co-loaders, overseas agents for freight charge, transportation and handling costs. Good connections with airlines as well as carriers to get best rate and support sales team.

- Contact, coordinated with oversea agent and assist to Sales Department to check freight charge, sailing schedule, shipment status, provide agents with quotation, settlement of complaints…monitor front- end operations in handling the nomination and freehand shipment.

Be responsible for the training and development of pricing staff;

- Graduated from university or college majoring in import- export, foreign trade and related disciplines;

Proficient in Incoterms, B/L, ...
Ability to work independently and in a team, able to work under high pressure. Be meticulous and diligent in work;
Have 5 years experience in similar position with a FREIGHT FORWARDER;
Proficient in use of computers, good communication in English is essential;
