URGENT! Emergency Medical Technicians Needed (EMT) $23/hour

Organizational Overview: Heed Health offers event solutions that prioritize guest safety and well-being for various types of events! Our clients range from organizations, production companies, schools and universities, private event hosts, and planners. Our strategies have been proven to provide peace of mind for our clients, and we offer reliable and professional event medic and wellness services.
We are urgently seeking experienced EMTs to assist with an Experiential/Theatrical event in Austin, TX from now through the end of the year.
Shifts: 5:00pm-12:00am (daily)
Are you an EMT or Paramedic seeking flexible and engaging opportunities to supplement your income? Our dedicated team of event medics play a crucial role in ensuring the safety and well-being of participants at various events. While most of our clients' events proceed without incidents, our EMTs and paramedics are present as a precautionary measure to provide peace of mind and immediate medical assistance if needed.
Key Responsibilities:

Patient Assessment and Initial Treatment: Quickly assess patients' conditions and provide immediate care to address any injury or illness that arises during events.
First-Aid Administration: Offer first-aid treatment to patients reporting injuries or illnesses, ensuring prompt and effective care.
Basic Life Support: Be prepared to administer basic life support measures, including CPR, to stabilize patients in critical situations.
Emergency Care Escalation: Evaluate patients' conditions to determine if they require escalation to emergency care and make informed decisions for their well-being.
Coordination with Emergency Services: Communicate and coordinate with emergency services to facilitate patient transfers when necessary.
