Technician

This position is responsible for the fabrication, service and repair of prosthetic and orthotic devices.

Essential Functions:

Fabricate, maintain, and repair orthotic and prosthetic devices, according to prescription specifications and under guidance of a prosthetist.
Tests device for freedom of movement, alignment of parts, and biomechanical stability. Complete work orders as assigned.
Maintenance of all equipment and tools in the lab.
Maintain and clean and organized work area.
Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

High School diploma
One to three years of experience in an industrial setting
Experience working in a machine shop, construction or auto repair preferred
Able to work overtime

Physical Demands:

The employee frequently is required to stand; walk; squat; bend; use hands to finger, handle or feel; and reach/pull/push with hands and arms. Must be able to lift 50 pounds.

Work Environment:

This job operates in a lab environment. This role routinely uses hand and power tools, jigs, fixtures, compressed air and measuring devices.

The US base hourly range for this full-time position is $24.41 - $30.00 + bonus + benefits. Our hourly ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
