Our growing, child care center serves children from 6 weeks through 12 years old. Our school is licensed child care facility and currently holds a Star 2 rating with Keystone Stars. We are currently looking for an innovative Preschool Teacher who can create a fun learning environment to incorporate educational activities/lessons that promote child development. The Preschool Teacher will be responsible for monitoring preschool systems and teaching 3–5-year-old children in our program. The teacher will implement a curriculum that the children will respond to positively. Develop and maintain a constructive and ongoing rapport with children and parents
Create activities that are fun and educational for the children
Deliver reports on potential concerns about students to Director as needed
Manage day-to-day classroom activities, morning meetings, facilitated free play, bathroom breaks, lunch time, and dismissal
Maintain required professional development credits and collaborate with other teachers to ensure that the school fosters an environment that is inviting and nurturing for every child
Skills and Educational requirements:
Bachelor's Degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field required
CDA
All required clearances (see listed below)
2+ years experience working with children in a classroom setting
Strong knowledge of DHS standards
Caring and nurturing attitude towards children
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Must be flexible and able to adapt to any unforeseen changes that could be necessary throughout the day
