Job Purpose
The primary purpose of this position is for the RN to evaluate nursing practices within the facility to help maximize efficiency and optimize resident care.
Position Summary:
- Suggesting and implementing changes
- Training nurses on new procedures
- Ensuring all State and Federal requirements are followed

Develop, direct, coordinate, and implement nursing and staff educational programs including:
- Mandatory new-hire orientation for all new staff and Concise orientation for temporary personnel
- Orientation programs for all new nursing department staff
- Skills training for nursing staff
- Continuing education programs
- Oversees annual competencies for all staff through My Path
- Quality Assurance and Performance Improvement program- Responsible for the QAPI program including oversight, facilitating and leading the Quality Assurance Committee, developing QAPI meeting schedules, QA audits, PIP programs and ensuring compliance.
Qualifications: Minimum AAS Nursing degree, required and BSN preferred. Current valid New York State RN License. one-year experience in Long Term Care; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Pay Range: $79,040-$118,000 annually
