Shuttle Driver We are looking for a responsible Shuttle Driver to safely transport trailers from the depot to the distribution center. You will make deliveries, pick up backhauls, unload, transfer returns, and helping around the yard when needed. Backhauls and/or local pickups when needed.
Operate electronic log system to track stops and locations.
Maintain sanitary conditions and meet standard hygiene requirements.
Keep equipment clean and report any vehicle repair issues immediately.
Safely operate a tractor trailer in traffic and in variable weather conditions.
Report any routing changes and/or problems with timely delivery to Supervisor.
Perform pre-trip and post-trip in accordance with DOT regulations and company procedures.
Obey all traffic rules and immediately report accidents or damages, report repair issues immediately.
Successfully complete monthly safety training courses.
Requirements:
At least 21 years of age.
Class A CDL.
Proven experience as a delivery driver or in a similar role.
At least one year of commercial driving experience.
Must be able to demonstrate basic math skills.
Meets all DOT requirements and possess current medical card.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills (with internal team members and customers).
