Service Dispatcher
Job Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Service Dispatcher to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring timely dispatch of repair orders, monitoring shop efficiency and maintaining effective communication with technicians, service advisors and service admin staff. This position requires a strong understanding of dispatch coordination and the ability to analyze data to optimize shop-flow and carry-over management.

Pay: $60,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year

The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring timely dispatch of repair orders, monitoring shop efficiency and maintaining effective communication with technicians, service advisors and service admin staff. This position requires a strong understanding of dispatch coordination and the ability to analyze data to optimize shop-flow and carry-over management.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate and manage shop-flow for service department, ensuring timely and efficient dispatching.
- Utilize Reynolds and Reynolds DMS to manage scheduling and track repair orders.
- Communicate effectively with valets, service technicians and advisors, and admin staff to provide updates and address any issues in shop-flow capacity.
- Analyze technician efficiency and schedule to improve service repair completion time and optimize/increase profitbility.
- Monitor GM/Cadillac warranty repair guidelines to ensure compliance and to aid warranty administration in payment of claims.
- Monitor shop safety regulations, equipment needs and operational efficiency.
- Maintain detailed records of dispatch activities, including daily log, completion ratios and carry-over allocation.
- Strong knowledge of delaership dispatching principles and practices.
- Excellent communication skills for effective interaction with team members, customers, and valets.
- Proficiency in Reynolds and Reynolds software is preferred.
- Ability to analyze data for decision-making purposes related to shop-flow management and scheduling.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills for managing multiple tasks simultaneously.
