Semi/Tanker Trailer Technician 3+ Years of Experience
Monday through Friday $35-50/hourly based on experience RELOCATION ASSISTANCE AVAILABLE We are seeking an experienced Semi Tanker / Trailer Mechanic in Anchorage, Alaska. This position is responsible for maintaining tankers by conducting inspections, diagnostic tests, and identifying work and damaged parts removing, and then repairing, adjusting, overhauling, assembling, disassembling, and replacing major assemblies, sub-assemblies, components, parts, or systems, as needed. To excel in this role, you must be dependable, service and detail-oriented with in-depth knowledge and experience with tank trailers, flat beds, suspensions, brakes disk and drum, air systems, frame repairs, deck repairs, roof repairs, welding, and hydraulic knowledge. Qualifications:
3-5+ years of tanker / trailer repair and diagnostic knowledge / skills
Experience or training as a diesel and/or a heavy-duty equipment mechanic is required
Valid driver’s license (CDL preferred)
Aluminum welding experience (preferred)
Great communication and problem-solving skills
