Key Responsibilities:
Patient-Centered Care: Assess, plan, and implement individualized nursing interventions for adolescent patients with behavioral health needs.
Leadership: Provide clinical supervision for Mental Health Workers (MHWs) to ensure safe and therapeutic care delivery; act as charge nurse as scheduled.
Team Collaboration: Work closely with a multidisciplinary team to meet the psychological and physical health needs of patients.
Flexible Assignments: Must be comfortable floating to other units and taking charge shifts as needed.
Important Information: Travel nurses are required to make up any missed shifts before the contract’s end. Starting 6/24/2024, local candidates within 35 miles of the facility are subject to a 10% rate decrease. RTO will not be approved for holiday periods (11/24-11/30 and 12/22-1/5), and travelers are expected to work two out of the three major holidays based on facility needs. Qualifications:
Experience: Minimum 5 years as an RN (recent experience within the last 3 months required); must have experience with adolescent/child psychiatric care.
Skills Checklist: Psych skills checklist completed within the past year.
Certifications:
BLS (AHA) Certification
Licensing: Must be eligible and willing to obtain Vermont RN license.

References: Two supervisory references from the past two years.
Facility Housing: Facility housing may be available at $300-450, depending on vacancy and room type. Should you choose facility housing, the agency will coordinate the leasing agreement.
