Key Responsibilities:
Direct Patient Care: Administer medications and treatments with empathy, in accordance with nursing best practices.
Wound Care & Coordination: Perform wound care and collaborate with the care team to develop tailored care plans for each patient.
Holistic Support: Approach care with a comprehensive view, factoring in age, development, communication, and safety needs.
Qualifications:
License & Education: NYS Licensed Registered Nurse (RN) with BSN or ASN.
Certification: Basic Life Support (BLS) with AED certification required.
Experience:
Previous experience in FQHCs or other low-resource settings preferred.
Experience with patients facing homelessness, living with HIV, or using substances is a plus.
Language Skills: Bilingual in English/Spanish or English/French is highly desirable.
