- Provide direct patient care, including monitoring vital signs, administering medications, and assisting with treatments and procedures.
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary healthcare team to develop and implement individualized care plans for patients.
- Perform comprehensive assessments of patients' health status and initiate appropriate interventions.
- Educate patients and their families on disease management, medications, and post-discharge care.
- Ensure accurate and timely documentation of patient care activities in accordance with facility policies and procedures.
- Maintain a safe and therapeutic environment for patients by adhering to infection control protocols and safety standards.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the achievement of departmental goals.
- BLS Certification
- ACLS Certification
- NY RN License
- 2 years previous Med Surg
