Registered Nurse, Ambulatory Surgery
Position Highlights:
- Position: Registered Nurse, ASU
- Location: ASU, Skokie Hospital
- Full Time/Part Time: FT 32hrs/week
- Hours: M-F, variable start times
- Required Travel: May float to other sites during low volume days
What you will need:
- License: Current professional Nursing Licensure in the state of IL required.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Nursing required; Specialty certification preferred
- Certification: BLS/CPR certification required
- Experience: Minimum of 3+ years’ experience in specialty area preferred with evidence of progressive leadership
What you will do:
- Manage day to day clinical operations and unit workflow/throughput
- Provide nursing care to all patient populations in the department
- Utilize the nursing process in planning, implementing and evaluating the patient plan of care
- Maintain regulatory compliance in individual practice
- Assume responsibility, accountability and authority for outcomes of nursing care
- Guide and direct assigned unlicensed nursing personnel in delivering patient care
- Positively contributing to safety outcomes and promoting high quality patient experience
- Guides staff development by teaching, mentoring and counseling with new and experienced staff, for both clinical and customer loyalty skills
