Job Description:
Project Overview: The National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA), Marshall Space Flight Center (MSFC) has a continuing requirement for Facilities Operations and Maintenance Support Services (FOMSS). Position Overview: The Program Manager at Marshall Space Flight Center, Huntsville, Alabama, serves as the contractor's single contract manager and is the authorized interface with the contracting officer's representative, government management personnel, and customer agency representatives. This position is integral to the success of a large base operations contract for NASA, where the Program Manager functions as the senior corporate representative responsible for overall contract performance. This opportunity is for a POTENTIAL CONTRACT award and is contingent upon the contract being awarded. Consideration for a potential contract may require a signed letter of intent. Primary/Major Duties and Responsibilities (Essential Functions): In this role, you will leverage your expert knowledge of operations and maintenance of large facilities, alongside your understanding of business concepts, practices, and procedures, to ensure that all aspects of the contract are executed efficiently and effectively. Your extensive experience and sound judgment will be essential in planning, managing, and achieving the goals of the contract. As the primary point of contact for government and customer agencies, you will ensure clear communication and maintain strong working relationships. Your leadership will be critical in guiding project teams to meet contractual obligations, maintain high performance standards, and achieve customer satisfaction. Expected pay: $150,000 to $180,000 per year
Bachelor’s Degree required
7-10 years of relevant experience in base operations program management
Extensive background in managing operations and maintenance of large facilities
Proven ability to lead complex programs
Demonstrated success in meeting stringent performance standards
