Phelbotomist
Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Phlebotomist to join our healthcare team. The Phlebotomist will be responsible for drawing blood from patients for various laboratory tests and procedures.
Duties
- Perform venipuncture and skin punctures to draw blood samples
- Label vials accurately and maintain proper documentation of patient information
- Ensure patient comfort and safety during the blood drawing process
- Prepare samples for testing or processing
- Adhere to infection control and safety guidelines
- Handle specimens appropriately for transport to the laboratory
Requirements
- Certification in Phlebotomy or related field
- Proficient in venipuncture techniques
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in labeling specimens
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Familiarity with medical terminology and procedures
Experience Preferred
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $18.50 - $20.00 per hour
