JOB OPENING: Mc Graw’s Paws Inc., Doggy Daycare and Pet Boarding, is looking to add a Pet Care Attendant to our team to provide excellent care to dogs and cats staying (boarding) or just dogs playing at our facility for the day (daycare). We are open to consider FT, PT. Our ideal candidate is one who loves animals and can provide high-quality pet care. We are a family owned/operated facility. We are looking for someone who is reliable, will provide a safe, clean and fun environment for pets, and provide great customer service to pet owners. We hope to find an Attendant with prior experience in animal care, but willing to train the right candidate. Pay DOE. Benefits available for employees 18+. Pet Care Attendant Duties and Responsibilities: Phase I (initially hired/trained) •Giving all pets food and water as needed throughout the day•Giving pet baths•Cleaning and maintaining pet care areas, kennels, pet relief and inside/outside daycare spaces•Supervising pets while in pet relief or daycare play areas•Other facility and pet care duties as assigned Phase II (possibly progressing towards additional administrative duties) •Keeping pet records such as feeding, medication, behavioral notes •Performing light receptionist duties, such as: making reservations, checking pets in/out, answering phones and emails Pet Care Attendant Requirements and Qualifications. The ideal candidate must possess: •A passion for taking care of animals •These soft skills: teamwork, communication, customer service skills, be trainable/coachable •Physical stamina for cleaning and maintaining the facility, and handling/supervising pets •The ability to lift up to 30 lbs Pet Attendant Preferences (but not required): •Familiarity with various pet breeds •Pet care experience such as vet office, pet care facility, shelter, or in-home animal care Please check out our website for details about our business and facility: mcgrawspawsinc.com.
