Position Overview: We are seeking a dedicated Pediatric Home Care Nurse to join our team, providing one-on-one clinical oversight for a child within the school system. This role includes comprehensive daily care, documentation, and close collaboration with school personnel to support the child’s medical needs throughout the school day. KeyResponsibilities: - Daily Care & Oversight: Begin each day at the child’s home, assisting with morning routines and preparing for transportation to school. - Transportation Support: Accompany the child on the school bus to and from school, ensuring a safe and comfortable commute. - In-School Support: Provide consistent and personalized clinical care within the school setting, documenting all activities and interventions in accordance with our client’s protocols. - Flexible Assignments: On days when the child is unable to attend school, be available to provide nursing services to other students at the school, as negotiated. - Compliance & Documentation: Adhere to our client’s policies, complete all required documentation, and participate in minimal administrative tasks as necessary, such as educational sessions or meetings. Compensation: - Registered Nurses (RNs): $50-$55 per hour - Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs): $44-$48 per hour - RN Supervisors will be considered for higher level opportunities and pay as well! - Additional paid time may be provided for required training or administrative responsibilities. Schedule: - Typical work hours are M-F from 6:30-7:00 am to 4-4:30 pm, with paid time covering all aspects of care, including transportation. Qualifications: - Active RN or LPN license, with experience in pediatric or school nursing preferred. - Ability to respond promptly to the child’s changing needs and work effectively within a school environment.
