Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled Painter/minor drywall finisher to join our team, specializing in residential painting and commercial projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in various painting techniques and the ability to work with different materials. This role requires attention to detail, a commitment to quality, and the ability to collaborate effectively with other team members.
Responsibilities

Prepare surfaces for painting by cleaning, sanding, and patching as necessary.
Apply paint, stain, and other finishes using brushes, rollers, or spray equipment.
Restore and maintain residential properties by performing necessary repairs and touch-ups.
Collaborate with team members on construction projects that may involve drywall installation.
Utilize power tools and hand tools safely and effectively for various tasks.
Follow safety protocols to ensure a safe working environment at all times.
Estimate project timelines and material needs accurately to maintain project efficiency.

Qualifications

Proven experience in residential painting with a strong portfolio of completed projects.
Knowledge of techniques and materials used in painting and construction.
Familiarity drywall installation.
Proficient in the use of power tools and hand tools relevant to the trade.
Strong attention to detail with an eye for aesthetics and quality workmanship.
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
Excellent time management skills to meet project deadlines effectively.
