Over The Road Long Haul Lease Driver with 2 yrs experience

Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled OTR (Over-the-Road) Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting goods across long distances, ensuring timely and safe delivery while adhering to all regulations and safety protocols. This role requires a strong commitment to customer service, as well as the ability to operate various types of vehicles and equipment.
Responsibilities

Operate commercial vehicles, including refrigerated trailers in compliance with all traffic laws and regulations.
Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure safety and functionality.
Maintain accurate logs of driving hours, mileage, and fuel consumption.
Communicate effectively with dispatchers regarding delivery schedules and any potential delays.
Navigate routes using GPS technology while being prepared to adjust routes as necessary due to weather or road conditions.
Provide excellent customer service during deliveries, addressing any concerns or questions from clients.
Adhere to company policies regarding safety, maintenance, and operational procedures.

Requirements

Valid Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) with a clean driving record.
2 years OTR verifiable
Ability to drive trucks including refrigerated trailers.
Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in maintaining logs and records.
Excellent communication skills for interaction with dispatchers and customers.
Ability to work independently and manage time effectively while on the road.
Must be able to pass background checks and drug screenings as required by company policy.
