Conestoga Eye is currently looking for a FT Optician/Receptionist who is energetic and enthusiastic for a position in our Lancaster and soon-opening Hershey office. Willingness to learn and a strong comfort level with technology a must! Conestoga Eye’s optical shop is independently owned and operated by the practice and has a selection of 1,200+ frames for children, women, and men.
Major responsibilities will include:
Selling and fitting glasses
Dispensing, adjusting, and repairing frames
Greeting and checking in/out patients
Fielding scheduling and patient phone calls
Posting and reporting charges
Position Requirements:
2-4 years customer service experience (medical practice preferred)
1+ years optical experience.
Experience with EMR/EHR and/or optical databases preferred.
Ability to work well under pressure with minimal supervision.
Proven flexibility and willingness to handle a variety of tasks.
Must be willing to travel between our two offices.
Salary depend upon experience. Range may be higher for right candidate.
