Part-time Office Manager will oversee the day-to-day office operations in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. The ideal candidate will have experience in shipping and receiving, bookkeeping, and proficiency in Quick Books.
Hours: 8am - noon (20-25 hours per week)
Qualifications:
3+ plus years experience in shipping & receiving logistics required Proficient in Quick Books (3+ years of experience)
Knowledge of basic bookkeeping and accounting principles
Proven experience as an Office Manager ir similiar administrative role, in a manufacturing environment Strong communcation skills both verbal and written
Proficient in MS office (Word, Excel, and Outlook)
High attention to detail and accuracy in data management and record-keeping
Highly organized
Ability to work independently
Shipping & Receiving:
Coordinate and manage the shipment of products, materials, and supplies
Oversee the receiving process, ensuring accuracy in quantity and quality of goods
Maintain shipping and receiving logs, ensuring all documentation is properly completed and filed
Liaise with vendors and carriers to schedule deliveries and shipments
Bookkeeping and Quick Books:
Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable using Quick Books
Perform data entry for all financial transactions, ensuring accuracy and completeness
Prepare invoices, process payments, and follow up on outstanding receivables
Office Management:
Maintain office organization, including ordering office supplies and maintaining inventory
Manage office communications and administrative tasks, including answering phone calls, emails, and filing
General Administrative Support:
Prepare and maintain various reports, spreadsheets, and other documents
Assist in processing purchase orders and maintaining inventory records
Support the team with miscellaneous tasks and ensure the smooth running of the office
