Job Description:
Commonwealth Medical Services is looking for a Nurse Practitioner to serve an integral role in the VA’s disability benefits process, all while maintaining a work-life balance with a manageable daily volume. This role will be responsible for conducting in-person physical exams and comprehensive disability evaluations for Veterans, as well as reviewing medical records to ensure accurate documentation. You will not be responsible for disability determination, prescription, or treatment.

Expected hours: 24 – 40 per week

- Review and interpret medical records to prepare for each assessment
- Document findings accurately and thoroughly in compliance with VA standards
- Ensure a positive and respectful experience for each Veteran
- Active, unrestricted Nurse Practitioner license
- Strong organizational and communication skills, with proficiency in basic computer applications
- Reliable and punctual
- Genuine interest in conducting independent medical evaluations
