Job title: Nurse Practitioner - Neonatology

Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Nurse Practitioner in Neonatology to provide care for newborns in the neonatal intensive care unit (NICU). The Nurse Practitioner will work closely with neonatologists, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care for premature and critically ill infants.

Responsibilities and Duties:

Assessing and diagnosing newborns in the NICU
Developing and implementing treatment plans
Monitoring the progress of newborns and adjusting treatment plans as needed
Collaborating with healthcare team members to coordinate care
Providing education and support to families of newborns in the NICU
Participating in rounds and multidisciplinary meetings
Maintaining accurate and up-to-date medical records

Qualifications and Skills:

Master's degree in Nursing with a specialization in Neonatology
Current Nurse Practitioner license in the state of practice
Certification as a Neonatal Nurse Practitioner (NNP)
Minimum of 2 years of experience working in a NICU setting
Strong clinical assessment and diagnostic skills
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
BLS and ACLS certification
