A reputable critical access hospital in Eastern Vermont is searching for a Nurse Manager to oversee its Medical/Surgical Unit. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing the unit’s daily operations, including all nursing personnel, and ensuring the delivery of quality patient care. You will function as a clinical expert and role model in applying the nursing process to manage the complex care of a diverse patient population. Responsibilities:
Oversee 45 direct reports, including an Assistant Nurse Manager, Nurse Educator, Charge Nurses, Clinical Leads, and Staff Nurses.
Supervise, train, and mentor clinical personnel within the unit.
Manage the unit’s schedule, ensuring enough resources for quality patient care.
Educate nurses, patients, and families on care plans and how to manage care after discharge.
Facilitate a collaborative work environment with multidisciplinary teams and leadership.
Qualifications:
Graduate from an accredited school of nursing.
A BSN is preferred.
Active RN license.
3+ years of RN experience is required.
1+ years of management experience is required.

Compensation: $94,000-112,000, depending on experience + bonuses
