Hiring Rate: $18.00 - $18.75/hr Hilton Pearl River, a full-service luxury hotel located 25 minutes from New York City in Rockland County (NY) and bordering Bergen County (NJ), is seeking an organized, energetic, hands-on professional to join our exceptional team as a part time weekend Night Auditor. The Night Auditor will conduct all nightly audit-related duties while providing guest service at the hotel’s front desk. Audit responsibilities include nightly balancing duties, daily paperwork, and shift reports. While completing these duties, the Night Auditor will attend to guest needs such as guest check-in/check-outs, reservations, and attending to guest questions and needs. Specific Job Knowledge, Skill, and Ability:
Audit hotel paperwork to ensure the day has balanced
Posts room charges and taxes to guest accounts
Must be able to verify all account postings and balances, all hotel paperwork is correct and balanced
Runs preliminary reports, processes no shows and close of day, stocks the front desk with daily supplies. Register arriving guests. Settle guest accounts with the ability to make good business decisions regarding discounts
Must be knowledgeable in making reservations
Greet guests and provide door service and luggage assistant service when needed
Ability to operate multi-line phone. Provide guests with information on local attractions
Resolves or refers to Management all guest concerns, complaints or suggestions in a continuous effort to provide superior guest service
Ability to work Overnight shift every Friday, Saturday and Sunday: 11:00pm 7:00am

Education:
High school graduate or equivalent vocational training certificate.
Fluency in English
Experience:
Must be flexible in hours and days worked MUST BE AVAILABLE ON WEEKENDS BOTH DAYS
Must be able to stand for long periods of time.
Must be able to lift 25 – 50 lbs. and carry up to 10 lbs
Must have sound judgment and discretional skills and be able to work with little or no supervision
Prefer prior Hilton On Q experience
One year hospitality/customer service experience preferred
Must be proficient in the use of common Windows-based computer programs, including Microsoft Word and Excel
Must be able to operate basic office machines, i.e., copier, fax, printer, et.
Must display very good organization and time management skills
Must have excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to interact with many types of personalities
