Morning Shift Laboratory Scientist - Microbiology Expertise Required

Position Overview:
We are excited to invite an experienced Medical Laboratory Scientist (MT/MLS/CLS) with at least one year of microbiology experience, including culture work-ups, for our morning shift team. This role is pivotal in supporting and optimizing laboratory workflows. You will be working within an existing team and leadership structure.
Key Responsibilities:

Perform tests in microbiology needed for culture work-ups.
Assist with daily laboratory operations.
Ensure compliance with laboratory best practices and safety standards.
Maintain and troubleshoot advanced laboratory equipment.
Utilize LIS for precise data entry and analysis.
Collaborate effectively with team members and contribute to a positive work environment.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Medical Laboratory Science (MLS/CLS) or related field.
2+ years of generalist laboratory experience preferred.
Certification by ASCP, AMT, or equivalent preferred.
Expertise in laboratory best practices and safety protocols.
Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills.
Proficiency in data analysis and process evaluation.
Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
Self-motivated with a commitment to continuous learning.
Authorized to work in the U.S. with full fluency in English.
