We have a current need for a METAL FINISHER (PAINTER / POLISHER) at our PROVIDENCE, RI location.

Objectives:

Perform various metal finishing processes, including powder coating, liquid painting, belt grinding and snag grinding.
Buff and polish different types of metals using various compounds.
Prepare parts for finish painting.
Clean, paint and bake metals using various fillers and primers.
Identify and correct defects to produce a smooth surface to a specified finish.
Perform other duties in order to prep components for final coating.

Requirements:

Ability to use hand tools and power tools.
Must be able to work from blueprints.
Knowledge of metal finishing techniques.
High school or vocational education and 3 years’ of industrial painting experience.
