*Job Summary* We are seeking a skilled Medical Assistant/Phlebotomist to join our healthcare team. The Phlebotomist will be responsible for drawing blood, tagging each sample, and then working closely with the lab to make sure that the proper samples are delivered for each patient. Also having to collect and organize clinical and demographic information for the Nurse Practitioner(NP), such as lab reports, Imaging, consultant pharmacist recommendations, Nursing notes, physician attendings , and etc. *Responsibilities* - Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques and prepare all collected specimens for testing and analysis. - Maintain patient and specimen information logs. - Perform data entry of patient information in an accurate and timely manner. - Certification as a Medical Assistant and Phlebotomy certification from an accredited agency. - Obtain and assist in acquiring vital signs, pulling Medication Administration Record (MAR), and orders for every patient to be seen that day. *Experience* - Previous experience as a Medical Assistant and Phlebotomist.
