Position Summary: The Manager of Engineering and Program Management is responsible for leading the engineering team and overseeing program management. Duties and Responsibilities:
Provide strategic direction and leadership to the engineering team, ensuring alignment with company goals and objectives.
Drive innovation and continuous improvement initiatives to enhance product quality, efficiency, and cost-effectiveness.
Oversee the development and implementation of engineering processes and standards to optimize productivity and ensure regulatory compliance.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support product development from concept to production, ensuring adherence to customer requirements and industry standards.
Mentor and develop engineering talent, fostering a culture of learning, growth, and accountability within the team.
Implement program management processes and tools to optimize project planning, scheduling, resource allocation, and risk management.
Drive cross-functional collaboration and communication to ensure alignment on project objectives, milestones, and deliverables.
Monitor project progress, identify potential issues of risks, and take proactive measures to mitigate them, ensuring timely resolution and project success.

Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering, Plastics Engineering, or related field.
Minimum of 10 years of progressive experience in engineering and program management roles within the automotive industry, with a focus on plastics components and assemblies.
Proven track record of successfully leading engineering teams and managing complex programs from concept to production.
Strong technical expertise in plastics engineering.
Excellent project management skills, with proficiency in project planning, scheduling, budgeting, and risk management methodologies.
Demonstrated ability to build and maintain relationships with OEM customers, understanding their requirements and driving customer satisfaction.
Exceptional leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate teams in a fast-paced environment.
