Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Maintenance Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in facilities maintenance and be proficient in various technical skills, including electrical systems, logic controllers, and welding. This role requires a proactive approach to maintaining and improving the functionality of our facilities while ensuring a safe and efficient working environment.
Duties
Perform routine maintenance and repairs on building systems, including electrical, plumbing, and HVAC.
Troubleshoot and repair equipment malfunctions using schematics and technical manuals.
Conduct regular inspections of facilities to identify potential issues and ensure compliance with safety standards.
Supervise maintenance projects and coordinate with external contractors when necessary.
Execute residential painting tasks to maintain aesthetic appeal and protect surfaces.
Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs, and inventory of supplies.
Lead training sessions for new staff on maintenance procedures and safety protocols.
Collaborate with team members to develop preventive maintenance schedules.
Qualifications
Proven experience in facilities maintenance or a related field.
Strong knowledge of electrical systems, logic controllers, and welding techniques.
Ability to read and interpret schematics and technical drawings.
Excellent leadership skills with the ability to supervise and motivate a team.
Proficiency in English for effective communication within the team and with stakeholders.
Strong problem-solving skills with a logical approach to troubleshooting issues.
Experience in residential painting is a plus but not mandatory.
