Duties
- Organize and maintain library collections including books, periodicals, and digital resources
- Develop and implement reading programs and activities to engage library users of all ages
- Assist patrons in locating materials and provide reference services
- Collaborate with schools and community organizations to promote literacy initiatives
- Conduct storytelling sessions and book clubs to encourage reading habits
- Manage library events such as author visits, workshops, and exhibitions
- Bachelor's degree in Library Science or related field preferred
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Knowledge of library cataloging systems and information retrieval tools
- Ability to work effectively with diverse populations
- Passion for literature and promoting reading culture
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $12.50 per hour
Schedule:
- 4 hour shift
- After school
