The project includes the 177-room Aloft San Juan hotel, the 6,000-spectator Coca-Cola Music Hall, an 8-screen VIP cinema by Caribbean Cinemas, TOROVERDE Urban Park, including Puerto Rico’s only urban zip-line attraction, and over 10 bars, lounges, fast casual eateries, full-service restaurants, attractions, and other entertainment experiences. The project is centered around a 50,000 square foot plaza with a fully digitized 14,500- foot stage system with 19 LED screens, incorporating 19 million pixels, providing a 360 experience to visitors. At DISTRITO T-Mobile, we are looking for a highly responsible internal Loss Prevention officer duties include securing premises and personnel by patrolling property and monitoring surveillance equipment with a sharp eye. They inspect buildings and assure compliance to policy and procedure while also preventing losses or damage by reporting irregularities that may arise, such as theft attempts on valuable assets. Treat all Distrito T-Mobile fans with respect and dignity as they are ambassadors of the venue. Core Responsibilities
Patrol premises regularly to maintain order and establish presence.
Monitor and authorize entrance of vehicles or people in the Venue.
Remove wrongdoers or trespassers from the area.
Secure all exits, doors and windows after end of operations.
Check surveillance cameras periodically to identify disruptions or unlawful acts.
Investigate people for suspicious activity or possessions.
Respond to alarms by investigating and assessing the situation.
Provide assistance to people in need.
Apprehend and detain perpetrators according to legal protocol before arrival of authorities
Submit reports of daily surveillance activity and important occurrences.
Qualifications for Security Officer
High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required
Must be at least 18 years old
Ability to pass a background check
Previous security-related work experience preferred
Ability to stay levelheaded and respond quickly in stressful situations
Proficient written and oral communication skills
Comfortable kneeling, carrying, bending, walking, and standing for extended periods of time
Ability to perform continuous physical exertion as needed
Working knowledge of basic security techniques
Great communication skills. Fluent in English, verbal and written
Ability to multi-task, be self-motivated, and pursue objectives
A go-getter who takes initiative and identifies areas for improvement
