We are seeking a Licensed Independent Social Worker (LISW) to join a dedicated team in Albuquerque, NM. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in behavioral health and demonstrate a commitment to providing high-quality patient care. This role involves working with individuals and families to address various mental health challenges, ensuring compliance with HIPAA regulations, and promoting overall well-being through effective therapeutic interventions.
Duties

Conduct comprehensive assessments of clients to develop individualized treatment plans.
Provide clinical counseling and support through individual and group therapy sessions.
Manage case files and maintain accurate medical records in accordance with HIPAA standards.
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to coordinate home community care services.
Implement applied behavior analysis techniques to support clients in achieving their goals.
Facilitate group therapy sessions focused on behavioral therapy and skill development.
Monitor client progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary to ensure effective outcomes.
Advocate for clients’ needs within the healthcare system and connect them with appropriate resources.

Skills

Proficient in medical records management and case management practices.
Strong understanding of behavioral health principles and therapeutic modalities.
Experience in home community care settings is highly desirable.
Ability to conduct group therapy sessions effectively, fostering a supportive environment.
Knowledge of applied behavior analysis techniques for diverse client populations.
