Responsibilities:
- Greet and assist prospective residents in a friendly and professional manner
- Conduct property tours and showcase available units
- Provide information on rental rates, leasing specials, and lease terms
- Process rental applications and conduct background checks
- Prepare lease agreements and ensure all required documents are completed accurately
- Coordinate move-in and move-out processes, including conducting inspections
- Address resident inquiries, concerns, and maintenance requests promptly and professionally
- Maintain accurate records of leasing activities and resident interactions
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in customer service or real estate administrative roles is preferred
- Knowledge of leasing contracts and lease terms is a plus
- Familiarity with computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS) is beneficial
- Excellent phone etiquette and communication skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize effectively
- Understanding of LIHTC (Low-Income Housing Tax Credit) regulations is a plus
- Ability to upsell additional services or amenities to prospective residents
- Conflict management skills to handle difficult situations with residents or prospects
