IT Network Support - Freelancer - Santa Clara, CA (Sillicon Valley)
We are seeking skilled technicians that provide freelance IT Support. In this role, you will provide on-site support to our clients, addressing a range of IT issues and ensuring smooth network operations. This is a 100% freelance position with no fixed days or hours, allowing flexible scheduling based on client needs. Key Responsibilities:
Provide on-site technical support for hardware and software issues, ensuring efficient resolution of technical problems to minimize downtime.
Troubleshoot and resolve network-related issues, including connectivity problems, configuration challenges, and performance optimizations.
Deliver smart hands support for clients' infrastructure, assisting with installations, upgrades, and hardware replacements as required.
Maintain and support network infrastructure, including monitoring performance, implementing upgrades, and ensuring security protocols are followed.
Document support activities and maintain accurate records of services rendered and issues resolved.
Collaborate with clients to understand their IT needs and provide recommendations for improvements and upgrades.
Assist clients with the installation and configuration of IT equipment, including servers, workstations, routers, and switches.
Qualifications:
Proven experience in IT support, with a strong focus on network support.
Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
Relevant certifications (e.g., Comp TIA A+, Network+, Cisco Certified Network) are a requirement.
