A DAY IN THE LIFE OF AN HR MANAGER In this administrative position, you manage all HR functions to keep operations running smoothly. You focus on ensuring the staff are ready and able to fulfill their roles, and the organization has compliant policies and procedures. Because the staff are the backbone of the organization, being a hands-on leader is always your priority. You also serve as a strategic partner for the leadership team, focusing on HR risk management and legal compliance. You provide support to supervisors for performance management. Conscientiously, you serve on the Employee Engagement Committee to ensure employee satisfaction. Additionally, you provide onboarding to new staff. QUALIFICATIONS FOR AN HR MANAGER This position requires the following abilities:
SHRM-CP or PHR certification
Knowledge and experience with all areas of Human Resources, including recruitment, training, performance management, and the legal and regulatory environment
Strong interpersonal skills in the areas of communication, collaboration, influence, negotiation, motivation, and relationship-building
Ability to exercise strategic planning, complex critical thinking, and decision-making skills
