Housekeeping Quality Control Inspector - Vacation Rentals

JOB DESCRIPTION: The Vacation Rental Quality Control Inspector will be responsible for performing comprehensive inspections of our vacation rental properties to verify they adhere to Nomadness Rentals’ quality standards. This role requires evaluating the cleanliness, functionality, and overall condition of each property, identifying any issues, and coordinating with cleaning and maintenance teams to resolve them promptly. The ideal candidate will possess strong attention to KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Conduct thorough inspections of vacation rental properties before and after guest stays to ensure compliance with Nomadness Rentals’ quality standards.
Evaluate the cleanliness, maintenance, and overall condition of each property, including furniture, appliances, amenities, and exterior areas.
Identify, document, and report any issues or areas needing improvement, such as damage, missing items, and safety hazards.
Coordinate with cleaning and maintenance teams to ensure timely resolution of identified issues.
Maintain accurate records of inspections, including detailed reports and photographic documentation.
Provide feedback and recommendations to property management on how to enhance the guest experience.
Ensure all properties are equipped with necessary supplies and amenities for upcoming guests.
Assist in developing and updating inspection checklists and quality standards as needed.
Respond to guest feedback and address any quality-related concerns promptly and professionally.
Stay informed about industry standards and best practices for vacation rental quality control.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or certification in hospitality management or a related field is a plus.
Previous experience in quality control, property management, or hospitality is preferred.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness and maintenance.
Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Proficiency in using inspection software and mobile applications.
Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation for traveling between properties.
Physical ability to perform inspections, including climbing stairs, bending, and lifting up to 25 pounds.
English required, bilingual in Spanish and English preferred
Working Conditions:
Frequent travel to various properties within the designated area is required.
Inspections may need to be conducted on weekends, holidays, and outside of regular business hours, depending on guest check-in and check-out schedules.
The role involves both indoor and outdoor work environments.
The role also includes on-call duties when needed and scheduled
