Position Highlights:
Heavy duty cleaning, maintenance of institutional equipment and vehicles.
Keep records of work performed.
Coordinate work with other departments so as not interrupt patient care or normal business functions.
Able to be on call for emergencies.
Perform or direct duties concerned with floor maintenance in the center and outside cleaning of the parking lot and surrounding areas.
Perform or direct heavy custodial duties such as scrubbing and buffing, cleaning of basement, storage, utility areas, washing walls, ceilings, outside windows, changing screens and storm windows, changing light bulbs in ceiling fixtures and cleaning duties in very high places, removing and disposing of garbage and trash.
Run errands, handles incoming and outgoing freight, lift and moves heavy furniture and equipment, and other miscellaneous duties as directed by supervisor or administrator.
Responsible for the care and use of supplies and maintenance equipment used in performance of duties.
Regular inspection of property and equipment for compliance with safety regulations.
Able to cooperate with other partners.
Perform other duties as assigned from time to time.

Experience
Floor Tech experience preferred, not required
High school graduate or graduate of a technical school.
Ability to read and interpret technical manuals. Knowledge of local codes and ordinances. Knowledge of safety regulations.
