Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Presser to join our team. The Presser will be responsible for ensuring that all garments are pressed to perfection, meeting the highest standards of quality and customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities
- Operate pressing machines to press garments such as suits, dresses, and shirts
- Inspect finished items to ensure they meet quality standards
- Identify any stains or damages and report them for further treatment
- Follow proper procedures for pressing different types of fabrics
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
Skills
- Experience in a hospitality, dry cleaning, or hotel setting is preferred
- Knowledge of laundering techniques
- Ability to operate and maintain pressing equipment
- Basic math skills for measuring and calculating garment dimensions
- Strong customer service skills to interact with clients effectively
Qualifications
- Experience in dry cleaning or laundry services
- Strong customer service skills
- Basic math skills for cash handling
- Previous experience in a dry cleaner or hotel setting is a plus
- Proficiency in cleaning techniques
- Attention to detail in pressing garments
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $14.00 - $17.00 per hour
Expected hours: 30 per week
