Dental Assistant

Job Title: Dental Assistant (Part-Time, 24-32 Hours Per Week)
Location: Arrowhead Dental, Evanston, Wyoming
Position Overview:
Our busy dental practice is seeking a skilled and compassionate Dental Assistant to join our team on a part-time basis. If you are detail-oriented, patient-focused, and have experience or a desire to work in a clinical dental setting, we'd love to meet you! This position is for 24-32 hours per week, with potential for additional hours based on practice needs.
Key Responsibilities:

Assist the dentist during various dental procedures, ensuring patient comfort and safety.
Prepare examination and surgical rooms by sterilizing instruments and setting up required equipment.
Take and develop X-rays as needed.
Provide post-operative care instructions to patients.
Maintain accurate patient records and update medical history information.
Manage inventory of supplies and report shortages to office manager.
Ensure a clean, organized, and efficient work environment.
Follow proper infection control protocols and OSHA guidelines.

Qualifications:

Certified Dental Assistant (CDA) or Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) preferred.
Prior experience as a Dental Assistant is an asset, but recent graduates are encouraged to apply.
Knowledge of dental equipment and materials.
Proficiency in dental software
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Strong attention to detail and a commitment to patient care.
