Assist the dentist during examinations and procedures using four-handed dentistry techniques.
Prepare and maintain dental instruments, ensuring they are sterilized and ready for use.
Take and develop X-rays as needed to assist in diagnosis and treatment planning.
Document patient medical histories accurately and maintain comprehensive medical documentation.
Provide support in prosthodontics procedures.
Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and post-treatment care.
Manage patient flow within the clinic to ensure efficient operations.
Collaborate with team members to maintain a clean and organized dental clinic environment.
Skills
Proficient in dental assisting with a strong understanding of four-handed dentistry principles.
Familiarity with dental clinic operations, including patient management systems like Dentrix.
Knowledge of anatomy relevant to dental procedures and treatments.
Experience with X-ray technology and safety protocols.
Ability to perform medical documentation accurately and efficiently.
Strong interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with patients and team members.
Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
