Summary:
The Customer Service Rep 1 position is a superior level position in Patient Financial Services. This position requires overall knowledge of Baptist Health Process’s and overall knowledge of most Health Insurance payers/policies. A well rounded variety of knowledge and skills sets are required. For example: Collecting patient payments, resolving reimbursement issues, providing complaint information for all patients and vendors, demonstrating well round knowledge to answer any caller’s questions, providing excellent customer service for Baptist Health, and any other duties that may be assigned.
Other information:
High School diploma required. At least three years customer service related experience required. Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing. Ability to read and understand billing policies; obtain information from a variety of sources; use a computer and various software efficiently to accomplish set goals. Work positively with patients, families, coworkers, payors, and other internal and external customers.
This job will be authorized 80.00 hours bi-weekly.
