Competency Assessor

Job Summary:
We are seeking a seasoned professional in the oil and gas industry to execute a Competency Assurance Program for our operations and wells field-facing workforce. This role focuses on delivering technical competency assessments, coaching, and developing workforce skills to enhance safety and operational efficiency.
Roles and Responsibilities:

Conduct one-on-one technical competency assessments for operations and wells personnel.
Identify skill gaps and develop tailored training plans and resources.
Collaborate with stakeholders to enhance competency frameworks for a wide range of tasks.
Provide coaching to workforce members, ensuring they meet competency standards.
Develop procedures and guides to support operations and wells roles.
Manage administrative tasks for assessments and contribute to ongoing program development.

Required Qualifications:

High school diploma or GED (Bachelor’s degree preferred).
Minimum 10 years of experience in the oil and gas industry, with expertise in operations or wells.
Strong skills in competency assessment, coaching, and workforce development.

Job Type: Contract
Pay: $80.00 - $100.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
