Clinic Manager

Description: General Summary: The Clinic Manager ensures that the companies goals, polices and decisions are fully implemented and is responsible for maintaining the day to day operations of the clinic under the direction of the physicians and CEO/CFO.
Primary Job Responsibilities:
  • Assists the physicians and CEO/CFO in developing and implementing the mission, vision and strategic plan while promoting a culture that exhibits the companies' values.
  • Oversees the daily operations of the clinic and ensures operational execution.
  • Participates in the development, changes and enforcement of operational policies and procedures.
  • Resolves all problems related to staffing, utilization of facilities, equipment, and supplies.
  • Handles patient concerns and complaints that require upper management.
  • Implements, manages, and monitors special projects and/or process redesign.
  • Participates in recruitment, performance evaluation, management, and retention of staff.
  • Facilitates clinic operational adherence to the State, Federal, and local laws and regulations.
  • Schedules and conducts periodic staff meetings with the employees to inform the staff of changes in practice policy and to resolve problems that are hindering operating effectiveness.
  • Produces, reviews, and monitors reports on various key performance indicators.
  • Acts as a liaison for clinic vendors and other support organizations.
  • Establishes and maintains processes necessary to facilitate efficient and effective clinic operations.
Requirements: Knowledge/Skills/Abilities
  • Exhibits adequate knowledge of principles and practice of health care organizations and management.
  • Displays sufficient skills in Microsoft Office and other require software.
  • Exercising a high degree of initiative, judgment, discretion, and decision-making to achieve clinic objectives.
  • Ability to plan, organize, delegate and supervise.
  • Ability to lead employees to accomplish all job objectives while inspiring confidence and motivation.
  • Follows prudent problem solving process by gathering and interpreting data, analyzing situations accurately, and taking effective action.
Physical Requirements: Must possess the physical and mental abilities to perform the tasks normally associated with an Administrators including walking, bending, standing, reaching, lifting, and sitting.
Experience Requirements: Applicant must have a minimum of 3 consecutive years in a medical office. Required to have management experience or other leadership experience.
