Job description (Behavior Technician) The focus of the job is to help the child/adolescent develop emotionally and behaviorally through the implementation of ABA-based approaches and behavior plans designed by the BCBA. Behavior Technicians will record data after every session and report directly to their Program Supervisor. Candidates must be able to work independently, be self-driven, and work in sometimes stressful environments. Requirements:
Have a bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university in a behavioral health field, behavior analysis or a related field, plus one year of full-time equivalent experience working with children with ASD; or Have an associate’s degree or an equivalent number of credit hours with a passing grade from an accredited college or university in a behavioral health field, behavior analysis or a related field, plus two years of full-time equivalent experience working with children with ASD Minimal entry level Associate's degree in a related field
Must have CPR and First Aid
May perform duties that involve the following if working in center: · Will work with children between the ages of 2 to 6; other ages may apply · May apply first aid for cuts and scrapes and administer medication to children with medical conditions related to allergies. · Will change diapers, clean children after toileting accidents · May feed children that are in center for longer periods of time · Will be subject to children with compromised immune issues, minor colds, sniffles, bloody noses, and gastrointestinal issues · Clean nightly Schedule: Must have the flexibility for after-school and evenings and weekend hours; Must work one weekend day; Schedule TBD Job Type: Part-time Pay: $18.00 - $23.00 per hour Job Type: Part-time Pay: $18.00 - $23.00 per hour Schedule:
